The Dryer Guys LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the The Dryer Guys website at thedryerguys.net and its supporting domains. We collect and process personal information to deliver dryer vent cleaning services to residential, multi-unit, and commercial customers across North Jersey.

Information you give us directly:

• Name, email address, phone number, and service address when you book an appointment.
• Billing information (handled and stored by Square; we do not retain full credit card numbers on our systems).
• Messages you send through the contact form or by email.
• Appointment history, service notes, and photos we take as part of documenting your service.

Information collected automatically:

• Standard web analytics via Google Analytics 4 (page views, session duration, referring source, approximate location by IP).
• User-experience analytics via Microsoft Clarity (anonymized session recordings and heatmaps — no form-field contents are captured).
• Marketing performance via Meta Pixel when you arrive from a Facebook or Instagram ad.
• Technical logs (browser type, operating system, approximate location) for debugging and security.

3. How we use it

• To schedule, deliver, and invoice services you have requested.
• To send service confirmations, reminders, receipts, and follow-up communications via Square Marketing and Square Appointments.
• To respond to inquiries you send through the contact form or by email.
• To send occasional marketing emails to customers who have opted in. You can unsubscribe at any time from the footer of any email.
• To improve the website, our services, and our marketing — in aggregate, not tied to your personal identity.
• To comply with legal obligations (tax, dispute resolution, insurance recordkeeping).

4. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with vendors who help us operate the business:

• Square — appointment scheduling, payment processing, invoicing, and email marketing. Square's privacy practices are described at squareup.com/us/en/legal/general/privacy.
• Google — web analytics (Google Analytics 4) and search-console integration.
• Microsoft — Clarity analytics and Bing Webmaster Tools.
• Meta — advertising conversion tracking (Meta Pixel) when you arrive from a Meta-owned platform.
• Email / transactional providers — Resend and Gmail for inquiry responses.
• Legal or regulatory recipients — when required by law, subpoena, or court order.

5. Cookies and tracking

We use cookies for website functionality, analytics, and marketing attribution. You can disable cookies in your browser; some site functionality may not work correctly if you do.

6. Your rights

You can request a copy, correction, or deletion of your personal information at any time by emailing admin@thedryerguys.net. We will respond within 30 days.

7. Data retention

Appointment and billing records are retained for seven years for tax and insurance purposes. Marketing contact lists are retained as long as you remain subscribed. Analytics data is retained per Google's and Microsoft's default retention policies.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect the personal information we hold. Payment information is handled entirely by Square, which is PCI-DSS compliant.

9. Children

Our services are directed at adult property owners and operators. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our practices evolve. Material changes will be noted at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance.
